COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
NFPA 80 & 105 Compliance Made Simple
Fire doors and smoke doors only save lives if they work properly. NFPA 80 and 105 require two types of inspection
- Acceptance Testing after installation or repair
- Annual Inspections for every fire-rated opening
Our inspection reports are detailed, easy to understand, and compliant with CMS, The Joint Commission, and local AHJs. Records are maintained for five years as required.
How long must inspection records be kept?
“Acceptance Testing is for the life of the assembly” and “periodic testing is for a minimum fo 5 years”
